Come share a day of authentic experiences full of nature, history and tradition in the unique region of the Peneda-Gerês National Park.

We will leave the motorway and drive along beaten roads that will take us to the mountain peaks, through villages lost in time, where flocks of sheep and wild “Garrano” horses freely roam. The indigenous people have, for several centuries, built the unique mountain culture of this region, through viewpoints over the raw granite landscape, dams and slopes which will take us to the verdant valleys of the Campo do Gerês. We will learn about the pre-Romanesque culture and ethnography of this ancient region and take in the mesmerizing landscapes of the National Park, through mountain roads, waterfalls, villages and the ever-encircling nature, aboard a horse-drawn carriage. At lunch, we will delight ourselves with traditional mountain flavours, in the purity and tranquillity of a small village in the region, and then discover the Shrine of São Bento da Porta Aberta, the second most important place of pilgrimage in Portugal. We will finish the day in beauty, relaxing with a cocktail harmonised with regional products, surrounded by the river and mountain landscapes of this region of unparalleled beauty.

All this and much more, without haste, at your own pace and accompanied by a certified, experienced and friendly guide who will make this day an unforgettable memory to share with your family and friends.
